Mini HDMI cable is a popular name. Generally, the large head HDMI is called HDMI A type, the seldom used HDMI B type, and the small head HDMI C type, which is what we often call mini HDMI cable. There is also a type used in mobile phones. For portable devices like Mini USB, it is called HDMI D type.
